LaserArt Sharks beat Vudu in Cebu Flag Football
DESPITE losing their title last season, powerhouse LaserArt Sharks proved that they are still the team to beat as they trounced bitter rivals Vudu Flamingos, 26-20, in the Cebu Flag Football League held over the weekedn at the San Roque field in Mandaue City.
The Sharks exacted revenge on the Flamingos, who dethroned them in last season's 8-on-8 championship.
They improved their record to 2-0 (win- loss) while the Flamingos remained winless after two games.
The Rebels also notched their second consecutive win after trouncing the Supermen, 26-6, while the Piranhas got their first win of the season at the expense of the Cocks, 13-10.
In the women's side, defending champions Sharkettes blasted the Bombshells, 27-0, for their second win.
Last season's runner-up, Alpha, also followed suit with a 32-0 drubbing of the Chargers. The Dark Angels also barged into the win column following their 12-0 win over the Supergirls. (Jonas Panerio)
