Gear up for the opening of the CFFL men’s and women’s 7on7 season at San Roque Parish in H. Cortes Mandaue this Saturday, September 30, 2006. This season marks the return of your favorite teams such as constant powerhouses and defending champions of both men’s and women’s category, the VUDU Pink Flamingos and the LaserArt Sharks; not to mention the LaserArt Sharkettes and The Alpha Lipton Hot Teas who saw Superbowl action last season and are the teams to watch out for. Let’s not forget the other teams returning for some football fun this season, for the men’s category: Browning and Sol Cocks, Pyroworks Rebels, Piranhas and Supermen and for the women’s teams UV-Lancers Dark Angels, Pyroworks Bombshells, Supergirls and Chargers. These guys and girls are certainly forces to be reckoned with this time around. Old players, new players, old tricks and new strategies, this is definitely going to be an action-packed and fun-filled season. Don’t miss out on some football excitement and head on down to San Roque Parish to catch the CFFL 7on7 Season sponsored by Norkis Yamaha. Games run from 8am to 4pm every Saturday from September 30 to October 14 at San Roque and from October 21 to December 2 venue is moved to Camp LapuLapu in Lahug. Another event to watch out is the Annual Boracay Bowl, where CFFL teams battle it out with PFFL teams from Manila.
