Cebu Flag Football League

good point. though I never thought some refs were intimidated by me or the flamingos. but the fact of the matter is, we don't have the budget to hire refs. Manila pays their referees. but they have 20t entrance fee. where as we are only charging 8t for old and 4t for new. so we will have to make do with our own refs. The referee seminar was a start. However, the players that joined the seminar are not the ones reffing. Teams usually send the rookies or those who can be easily asked to ref. \

ohh yes har hehehe some refs are in fact intimidated, scared or juz plain stupids... i know my teams not realy dat of a good. well anyways, was just a thought. the seminar realy helped.. thnx for the time har..
 

yess all of the above.but most of all I think the ref's don't have a good grasp on the rules which makes them doubtful about throwing a flag. what they dont know (and we need to remind them) is that they can throw a flag when in doubt, then talk it over with the head ref and the head ref can overturn the decision if it was wrong. But I completely understand though.It took me a few seasons before my players were comfortable reffing
 

hey har, how come we still dont see d games on cebu TV or any prints, promotions and things like that? at least some write ups.. like how the games went on, whos who and whats happening around the league..
 

no coverage on cebu28 tv - money money money. it costs money to produce the segments we air. the league is short on cash. right now we are saving roughly 3t every satureday by playing in meps (tents, chairs, table and sound system is donated by the lapu lapu city government). hopefully after this season ends we will have saved enough money to buy our own sound sytem which we can use in the future when we play in other fields.
